A cheerful still life featuring colorful cookies and macarons arranged on a bright yellow plate. I was drawn to the contrast between the warm yellow and orange tones of the plate and cookies and the cool blues and greens surrounding them.
The playful shapes and bold colors create a lively everyday scene, while the light and shadows add depth and dimension to the simple arrangement.
Oil on linen, 12 × 12 inches.
