A vibrant still life featuring slices of pineapple arranged on a deep blue glass plate. I was drawn to the contrast between the warm golden yellow of the pineapple and the rich blue of the plate, along with the reflections and subtle shifts of color created by the glass.
I wanted to capture the freshness of the fruit while exploring the bold relationship between yellow and blue and the way light shapes the simple arrangement.
Oil on linen, 12 × 12 inches.
