A quiet still life featuring two red cherries and a yellow glass, painted in warm, delicate tones. I was drawn to the contrast between the vivid red of the cherries and the transparent glass, with its subtle reflections and warm yellow and peach tones.
I wanted to capture the simple beauty of this everyday arrangement and the way natural light transforms the colors and shadows across the table.
Oil on linen, 12 × 12 inches.
