A vibrant still life featuring an orange in a stainless steel bowl. I was drawn to the warm orange and golden tones of the fruit against the cool gray and blue reflections of the metal bowl.
The blue polka dot cloth adds another layer of color and pattern, creating an unexpected contrast with the warm tones of the orange and the reflective surface of the bowl.
Oil on linen, 12 × 12 inches.
