A colorful still life featuring pastel macarons and Jordan almonds arranged on a white plate. I was drawn to the variety of soft pink, orange, green, blue, and lavender colors, along with the delicate shadows cast across the plate.
I wanted to capture the playful sweetness of these small treats while exploring the subtle relationships between pastel colors, light, and shadow.
Oil on linen, 12 × 12 inches.
