A playful still life featuring a pink glass plate with a tulip, colorful cookies, and a small rabbit-shaped cookie. I was drawn to the warm pinks, oranges, and greens throughout the arrangement, along with the reflections and overlapping shapes created by the transparent glass.
I wanted to capture the cheerful character of this everyday scene while exploring the relationships between color, light, and transparent surfaces.
Oil on linen, 12 × 12 inches.
